This annual conference is one of the most prestigious events for music educators in the state, bringing together leaders and innovators in music education from across Georgia.
Mr. Parker will represent Bainbridge High School and the Decatur County School System with his powerful session titled:
“Yes, They Are Just as Capable: Creating a Culture of Success Within the Second Ensemble.”
His presentation will shine a light on the importance of providing meaningful, high-quality music education to all students, not just those in top-tier ensembles. By focusing on cultivating excellence, motivation, and pride within the second ensemble, Mr. Parker advocates for a program-wide culture where every student feels valued, challenged, and capable of greatness.
This is an incredible honor and a reflection of Mr. Parker’s passion for inclusive teaching and student growth. We are proud to see him recognized at the state level and thankful for his continued commitment to excellence in music education here at Bainbridge High School.

Our students came in focused, energized, and ready to work — and their efforts are already paying off. After just one day, they’ve learned and placed half of the opener on the field! That’s an impressive start and a strong sign of the amazing season ahead.
The dedication, teamwork, and positive energy on the field today were inspiring. From fresh faces to seasoned leaders, everyone brought their best — and it shows.
This year’s marching band show is going to be something special, and we can’t wait to share it with our community under the Friday night lights. Let’s keep the momentum going!
Here’s to a great camp, a great show, and a great year! 🎶💜💛

Due to ongoing construction on the Bainbridge High School campus, all visitors must enter through the gate located on the west side of campus or through Bainbridge Middle School, next door.
➡️ If entering through the middle school, you will need to drive all the way around to the back and access the connection road between the two schools.
🅿️ Parking for Bearcat Basics (Thursday) will be directly behind the lunchroom.
We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we work to improve our campus!

As we prepare for the new school year, please remember that ALL rising Kindergarten, 7th Grade, and 11th Grade students are required to have an updated Form 3231 (Georgia Immunization Certificate) on file — if not already obtained.
✅ Please review your child’s vaccination record to ensure they are up to date and ready to start school on time.
Questions? Contact your child’s healthcare provider or local health department for assistance.
